A ghost town site in the Pancake Range, 5 miles northwest of the site of Hamilton. Not to be confused with Belmont in Nye County. The Belmont Mine and Mill were worked early in the 20th century by the Tonopah Belmont Development Mining Company for silver-lead ore; the last operation of the famed White Pine District. The operations here left behind what's been described as Nevada's best set of ruins from any former mining camp. An impressive 3-story mill and a ramshackle of small structures decorate the pine-studded site at Belmont Mill.
How To Get HereEdit
Belmont Mill is signed from US 50 just west of Hamilton Pass by way of an unpaved, four-wheel-drive route for "Belmont Mill, Green Mountain." Follow this road for 16 miles to the site.
