A small perennial stream that drains the west side of the Toquima Range, 45 miles north of Belmont in northern Nye County.

At 7.6 miles, Barley Creek is significant within the region as the most established trailhead for the Table Mountain Wilderness and a popular campground with hunters and backpackers throughout the year, offering the most direct and established trail into the range. Although narrow and brushy, perennial snowmelt drains from Table Mountain that allows a year-round population of wild Brook Trout and Rainbow Trout.
