Elevation: 10,730'

2nd highest lake in Nevada

This remote mountain tarn sits deep in the remote backcountry of the Snake Range within Great Basin National Park.  Baker Lake is accessed by a 6-mile hike from the Baker Creek trailhead, 3 miles south of Lehman Caves and the park visitor center.

Although the lake is only 4 surface acres, Baker Lake does hold a permanent population of non-native Brook Trout and Lahontan Cutthroat Trout.
