One of several prominent streams that drains the east side of the Snake Range in eastern White Pine County. Baker Creek flows for 19.4 miles from its source at Baker Lake downstream into the Snake Valley. About seventy percent of the stream remains protected within the boundaries of Great Basin National Park. The lower 8 miles of stream are accessible by way of the unpaved Baker Creek Road within the park. Accessing all upper portions of the stream can only be done on foot or horseback, making it a popular backpacking destination within the park.
